Pacific Football Club (4-7-5) travel to Edmonton, Alberta midweek to face FC Edmonton (3-7-6) this Wednesday, October 16th at Clarke Field. Kickoff in the game is set for 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Following back to back ties in the Coastal Clash, Pacific make their final road trip of the 2019 season to Alberta to take on the Eddies. Despite two difficult matches in Calgary and Hamilton, Pacific have bounced back with points in their last two games. Last time out at Westhills Stadium saw the tridents grab a big 1-0 win versus FC Edmonton.

The West Coast contingent will be eyeing three points ahead of their final home match this Saturday at Westhills Stadium versus Valour FC.

“We’ve been playing well again last couple games and now we’re looking to turn those performances into wins,” stated Pacific FC midfielder Ben Fisk. “Edmonton will be a tough battle but we like our chances are looking forward to ending the season on a high.”

FC Edmonton led by head coach Jeff Paulus currently sit in sixth place, two points behind Pacific. The Eddies kicked off the Fall season with a bang, beating the high flying Forge FC. However, a lack of goals has seen Edmonton slip to sixth place with 7 losses and a disappointing end to the season. FC Edmonton are coming off a 3-1 loss away in Winnipeg to Valour FC.

Desperate for a win, Paulus’ men will be pushing for three points in their final home game of the 2019 season in front of their home crowd at Clarke Field.

October 16th is a key game for Pacific FC as three points could give the tridents a chance for third place ahead of their Season Finale at Westhills Stadium on Saturday versus Valour FC. Meanwhile, FC Edmonton will be eyeing three points on Wednesday to end the 2019 season at home on a positive note.
