PREVIEW: Pacific FC Host Forge FC in Wednesday Night Showdown

Pacific Football Club (3-4-2) return home to Westhills Stadium in Langford, British Columbia this Wednesday, September 4th to face Hamilton’s Forge FC (5-1-1). Kickoff in the game is set for 7:00 p.m., with gates open at 5:00 p.m PDT. 


Pacific FC return home on a three game undefeated streak. The West Coast side grabbed a 2-1 win last time out at Westhills on August 24th with a brace from Marcus Haber. The Island contingent led by head coach Michael Silberbauer return from midweek action in Spruce Meadows, Calgary grabbing an impressive point versus the Spring League Champions. 

Pacific FC will be eyeing three points in what will be another tough test with Forge FC in front of their home support. 

Forge FC led by head coach Bobby Smyrniotis currently sit in second place, with three games in hand on the league leaders. The Hamilton, Ontario side finished off a busy few weeks with League and CONCACAF games. Last time out in CPL action, Smyrniotis’ side grabbed a vital three points vs Cavalry FC on August 25th. Most recently Forge return from Honduras, coming off a 4-2 loss on aggregate in CONCACAF action versus CD Olimpia.

September 4th is a key game for Pacific FC as three points could put Pacific level on points with FC Edmonton in third place with 14 points. Meanwhile, Forge FC will be eyeing three points on Wednesday night in Langford to go level with Cavalry FC in first place.
