Sellouf named CPL Player of the Week – Week 4

Pacific FC attacker Ayman Sellouf has been named Canadian Premier League Player of the Week for Week 4.

Sellouf put on one of the best individual performances of the season on Saturday in the Tridents 4-1 away win over Atlético Ottawa and was announced in the CPL Team of the Week on Monday, along with five of his teammates.

Statistically, Sellouf completed six of 10 dribbles, won eight of 11 duels, won possession 11 times, had two chances created, as well as a goal and an assist. His footwork bamboozled the Ottawa defence on multiple occasions, especially for his goal – Pacific’s third of the match.

He was also inches away from an Olimpico, but for Didic sticking out his boot to absolutely make sure the ball crossed the line.

Pacific’s new wing-wizard is quickly establishing himself as not only one of the most exciting and tricky attackers in the league, but one who has the final product to match.

This is the first time Sellouf has been named the Player of the Week in 2023.
