The Canadian Premier League announced the Team of the Week for Week 22 of the CPL season on Tuesday and Kunle Dada-Luke was named in the XI.

Dada-Luke was the standout player for Pacific FC on Saturday, adding to his already stellar season overall. The 22-year-old’s main contribution came from his goal to opening the scoring in the match. After latching onto Cedric Toussaint’s long pass, Dada-Luke took the ball in his stride and burst past the York United defenders before firing a shot under the goalkeeper. This was Dada-Luke’s first official goal for Pacific, as the semi-final goal against Cavalry FC to send Pacific to the CPL final last season was officially marked down as an own-goal. Aside from his goal on Saturday, the right-back won four tackles and had five recoveries and one interception defensively, and created an addition chance in attack.

This was Dada-Luke’s second time being named in the Team of the Week this season.
