Pacific FC announce the transfer of Easton Ongaro to Italian club Novara FC

Langford, BC – (January 17, 2024)Pacific FC announce the transfer of Easton Ongaro to Italian club Novara FC. Financial details of the agreement have not been disclosed. 

“On behalf of Pacific FC, I’d like to thank Easton for his professionalism throughout his time with the club and wish him success in all his future endeavors,” said Jamar Dixon, Manager of Football & Player Development, Pacific FC.

Ongaro, 25, made 29 appearances with Pacific during his lone season with the club before departing to play overseas. The six-foot-six striker from Edmonton, Alberta tallied five goals and added two assists for the Tridents.

“Thank you to the City of Langford and its fans for creating an environment that is difficult to walk away from. I’m looking forward to taking another step in my football journey as I prepare to continue my career in the country I grew up dreaming of playing in,” Ongaro said. “It was an opportunity that allowed me to grow both as an athlete and as a person.”

The towering attacker previously signed with FC Edmonton ahead of the 2019 season before playing overseas, on loan from FC Edmonton, joining Vendsyssel FF in the Danish 1st division in 2020. He later represented Romanian Liga 1 side FC UTA Arad, where he played in early 2022 before joining Whitecaps FC 2.
