Pacific Football Club

Pacific FC head across the Strait of Georgia for an integrated training session with Whitecaps FC. The two teams received permission from the Province to meet at University of British Columbia at 2 pm on March 26th to train together in advance of their upcoming 2021 seasons. The training session will follow all required COVID-19 protocols under the guidance of BC Health for High Performance Athletes.

The session is closed to fans and media due to COVID-19 restrictions.

“We are fortunate to have an MLS team in such close proximity so we can meet up with them and keep our players training competitively,” said Rob Friend, CEO, Pacific FC. “Our players are looking forward to sharing the pitch with them and having some fun and comradery.”

“We have been working closely with Vancouver Island Health on our Return to Train protocol and have now received approval to begin training as team” said Brad Norris-Jones, Executive VP, Pacific FC. “Pacific is thrilled to have the opportunity to train with the Vancouver Whitecaps and build the relationship between our clubs.”

This week kicked off Pacific FC’s training for the upcoming CPL season.

The 2021 CPL season is targeting to kickoff on May 22nd in local markets, dependent on local health authority approval. 2021 Season Tickets are now available starting at $22/month! Stay tuned to pacificfc.ca and follow the club on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook for the latest news.
