The 2024 Canadian Premier League season is about to officially kick off and we’ve planned our schedule for the upcoming season!

With it, Trident fans can now see those dates that are absolutely can’t-miss occasions at Starlight Stadium this coming season.

Here are five standout home dates on the PFC schedule.

Youth Soccer Night – Friday, April 19th (Valour FC)

Pacific FC have made an active effort in advance to the 2024 season to connect and build relationships with the Greater Victoria youth soccer community. The growing support from youth soccer organizations has culminated towards a Youth Soccer Night match that will be one for the ages.

Before the game, soccer players can enjoy a club penalty kick competition on the pitch and fans can expect all major youth soccer organizations to be in attendance cheering our Tridents to victory. 

Moreover, this is lining up to be local Sean Young’s 100th Pacific FC match marking the first PFC player to eclipse the century mark with the club!

Mother’s Day – Saturday, May 11th (Forge FC)

What better way to honour the mothers in our life than by treating them to an afternoon at Starlight Stadium?

Mother’s Day is always special and Pacific FC have the pleasure of playing at home on May 11th this season marking the perfect venue to gather the family and enjoy the atmosphere at Starlight Stadium. 

On this day our Tridents will be battling last season’s North Star Cup champions, Forge FC, in a talent-filled match that will bring the best out of both teams.

Indigenous Peoples Celebration – Saturday, June 1st (Cavalry FC)

Did you fall in love with our 2024 Indigenous-designed kit? This is the match to wear it!

Indigenous People Celebration matches are always a special occasion here and the 2023 Orange Shirt Day game showed what coming together around a football match can provide when we focus on reconciliation and respect.

You can definitely expect the same level of reflection and ceremony, as well as the same openness to difficult conversations that happened at last year’s Orange Shirt Day match.

Stewie’s Birthday & Beach Day – Friday, August 2nd (York United)

Stewie is a fan-favourite at Starlight Stadium and we’re planning some exciting festivities to celebrate his birthday this season. 

Keep our beaches beautiful! Pacific FC will also be celebrating Beach Day involving a match week beach clean up around the South Island attended by players and you, our fans!

Start your August long weekend off the right way by watching your Tridents protect our Island versus Martin Nash and York United. 

Marvel Superhero Night – Saturday, September 7th (Halifax Wanderers FC)

Whether you’re a Spider-man, Thor, Wolverine or Hulk fanatic you’re welcome to Starlight stadium September 7th!

Wear your favourite costume, enjoy our Peninsula Co-op family zone and watch the Tridents take on the Halifax Wanderers in a match that will carry playoff significance for both squads.
