Thank you Manny

Pacific FC announced today that Manny Aparicio will not be returning for the 2024 Canadian Premier League Season. Aparicio, a free agent following the 2023 Season, joined Pacific FC prior to the 2021 season which saw Pacific FC lift the North Star Shield.

Aparicio arrived at Pacific FC having played two seasons at York United and quickly endeared himself to the Trident faithful with his all-action, high energy play style. Not one to shy away from a tackle, Aparicio was a mainstay in the Tridents’ midfield, making 78 appearances and contributing 10 goals in his time with Pacific FC. Aparicio played a big role in the inaugural BC Derby between Pacific FC and Vancouver FC, scoring a late winning goal and leaving a lasting impression on the traveling Vancouver FC supporters.

Aparicio made a habit of putting in big performances when it mattered most, including a memorable goal in Pacific FC’s 2021 Canadian Championship victory against the Vancouver Whitecaps. In his time with the club, Aparicio also played all four matches against Waterhouse FC of Jamaica and C.S. Herediano of Costa Rica during Pacific FC’s 2022 CONCACAF League campaign. Following the 2023 CPL season, Aparicio was named to both the Fan Vote Team of the Year and the CPL Best XI.

Pacific FC would like to thank Manny Aparicio for all of his time as a Trident and the positive impact he has had at the club in the past three seasons and wish him the best in his future endeavors.
